Rod is a newly licensed sales agent and begins his real estate career with Al Elam Real Estate. He is a member of the Bagnell Dam Association of Realtors, the Missouri Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. He has a background in agriculture, sales and education and is a life long Missouri resident. Rod has sales experience in the insurance, agricultural, and the commercial and school bus industry.
He received his BS in Business Education and Physical and Health Education from Culver Stockton College in Canton, Missouri. He then obtained his Masters and Specialist Degrees from the University of Missouri in Columbia in Education Administration.
Rod is a past member of the Culver Stockton Alumni Board, The Eldon Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and The Central Missouri Athletic Association Board of Directors.
Personal
Rod is retired from Missouri Public Schools. He held the positions of Superintendent, Principal, Athletic Director, Coach and Teacher during his years of service. He is a member of the Missouri Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame. His teams made ten final four appearances in baseball and won six state championships. His basketball teams also competed in the final four finishing second twice. Rod was named State Baseball Coach of the Year six times and received the Multiple Sclerosis High School Coach of the Year in 1992 when his basketball team finished second in the state while his baseball team won the State Championship.
Rod and his wife Paulette live in the Eldon area. He enjoys golf, reading and sports. They have one son Justin.
