PROFESSIONAL
Greg began his real estate career with the Al Elam Company in December of 1996 as a broker/salesperson. In May 2000, he assumed the Director of Property Management duties overseeing the rental of homes, condos and apartments for numerous owners. In 2004 Greg returned to the sales force focusing solely on marketing and sales of real estate in the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks.
Currently, Greg is a member of the Bagnell Dam Association of REALTORS, Missouri Association of REALTORS and National Association of REALTORS. Since acquiring his ABR (Accredited Buyer Representation) designation - which is the benchmark of excellence in buyer agency services - Greg now pursues the GRI (Graduate REALTOR Institute) and the RSPS (Resort & Second-home Property Specialist) designations. This demonstrates Greg's desire to obtain both training and experience necessary to deliver the highest level of ethical and professional services to Al Elam Co. clients.
In addition to the various memberships held, Greg presently serves as a local director for the Bagnell Dam Association of REALTORS, maintains a membership in the Public Relations Committee (which he once Chaired) and the Programs Committee.
PERSONAL
"I participate with other area REALTORS in the annual Shoreline Clean Up, the St. Patrick's Day Parade, Senior Olympics, Chili Cook Off and other social events. It all keeps me pretty busy promoting the BDAR, as well as the Lake of the Ozarks."
"Prior to real estate I served in the banking industry. I began as a bank examiner for the State of Illinois in 1977 and then accepted the Presidency of Winchester National Bank at Winchester, Illinois, in 1985. Holding that office until 1991, my wife and I moved to the Lake, as I took the position of President at Bank Star One. Spending five years there, I got into real estate, but remained involved with the banking industry at First Bank of the Lake and Citizens Bank of Pilot Grove, MO, until 2002."
"My wife, Debbie, and I live on Horseshoe Bend with our two kids, Kyle and Jessica. Debbie owns her own business preparing tax returns and performing bookkeeping duties for individuals and businesses."
